Optoma's LED display takes centre stage at Schindler HQ in Berlin

Schindler Group is a leading global provider of elevators, escalators and moving walks, as well as maintenance and modernisation services. The Group has over 1000 branch offices in more than 100 countries and aspires to keep the urban world moving safely, comfortably and efficiently 24/7. Schindler was undergoing a huge construction development at its new headquarters in Berlin. As part of the major development, the large foyer area required a stand-out piece of display technology that would produce bold and vibrant imagery to attract the attention of all guests and customers entering the building. The new display would act as a platform to help promote Schindler products to all visitors. Ross Noonan, Technical Product Specialist at Optoma worked closely with Schindler to find the perfect solution for this specialist project. The Optoma FHD26528 was selected as the best solution as the large display boasts a 2.6mm pixel pitch and a Full HD 1080p resolution. The FHD26528 is a Full HD LED display measuring 5 x 2.8m (226” diagonal). The ultra-thin, 16:9 native aspect ratio LED display is easy to install, operate and maintain. It is designed for ultimate reliability and superior image quality. The final result was simply amazing. Measuring a jaw dropping 5 x 2.8m, the final FHD26528 display produced the ‘wow’ factor and now takes centre stage in the foyer. Pau-y Chow commented: “The installation process was a very exciting one for us because it was the first time we saw an LED display of this size being built. We came every now and then to see how it was going. Every time we came, we saw an amazing LED display being built.” https://ift.tt/38lqR1P Optoma EMEA December 10, 2019 at 06:51AM
